Man taken to hospital after motorbike and car crash on major road

A man was taken to hospital after a crash between a motorbike and a car.

Officers were called to Borough Road, near Kingsland Road, in Birkenhead at around 8pm on Monday, June 24. It followed a report of a crash involving a car and a motorbike.

The man on the motorbike was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious leg injury. The driver of the car stopped at the scene. Images sent to the ECHO showed multiple police cars at the scene and a cordon in place.
