Weston McKennie's social media activity has led to speculation from some Manchester United supporters ahead of the summer transfer window.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe is expected to oversee a summer of change at Old Trafford after taking over earlier this year. While there has been speculation surrounding Erik ten Hag's future, he could be given another transfer window to try and turn their fortunes around.

Having already held conversations with the board, Ten Hag said: "Initial meetings are good. Now we have to take things quickly because the summer is coming.

"It's a very important period where you come into a window. We want to make the next step into our squad and make plans to create an environment that avoids this year's problems in injuries."

Though it remains to be seen which players are signed by the club one potential target, McKennie, looks to have been the victim of a hack of one of his social media platforms. His Facebook profile photo changed to an image of him wearing a United shirt.

It lasted 20 minutes before he changed it back to him wearing a Juve kit, which was enough time to catch the attention of United fans. Some supporters, meanwhile, admitted it wouldn't 'be a bad signing' while another concluded 'it would make sense.'

The American joined Juventus from Schalke 04 in 2021. McKennie has recently rediscovered his form at Juve following a lacklustre loan stint at Leeds United in the second half of last season.

He has managed ten assists in 35 games for Juve this season and has been a key player, missing only two matches all campaign.
