Married at First Sight UK star shares relationship update as she reunites with her 'first love'

A 2022 Married at First Sight UK star, Lara Eyre, has given her fans a relationship update. After marrying Richie Dews on the E4 series, the couple did not remain in the show for long before going their separate ways.

When deciding to end her marriage to Richie on the show Lara tearfully told the relationship experts Mel Schilling, Paul C Brunson and Charlene Douglas, that she was giving up on love. She has now reunited with her "first and best love" and said she is "the luckiest girl in the world".

Lara said: "A BIG apology to @paulcbrunson @mel_schilling1 and @charlenedouglasofficial, I know I told you that after MAFS I was done and had given up on LOVE but I was wrong!!! It took me 36 years to find my way back to the first and best love of my life and I have never been happier and I think I might just be the luckiest girl in the world" followed by a red love heart emoji. Mel commented on the post, which was a picture of Lara and her partner when they were younger and a recent snap: "Miss Lara this is the best news ever! How romantic... you deserve the biggest, most wonderful love & I'm sure it's worth the wait. Treasure every moment x".

Lara currently has her own Married at First Sight UK podcast where she discusses both the UK and Australian versions of the show. The 2024 Australian version of MAFS recently finished airing in the UK, where viewers were not impressed with one groom Jono, who was married to Lauren.
