Gary Lineker has taken to social media to launch a foul mouthed rant against, what he branded a "bulls**t decision," in Euro 2024, during a break from hosting Match of the Day.

The ex England striker knows a thing or two about being at a major football tournament and is now over in Germany to head up the BBC team for the Euros, meaning the former Spurs star has been on TV quite a lot since the tournament kicked off on Friday night. Gary had an emotional moment in the lead up to kick off between Italy and Albania on Saturday night, when he spoke of everyone involved with Match of the Day's 'shock' at the worrying news about much loved pundit and ex Liverpool player Alan Hansen being seriously unwell in hospital, as he sent his love to the Scot and his family.

There was also a moving end to Tuesday's coverage of Portugal v Czechia, when highlights of the match, which Portugal won 2-1 were soundtracked by Sunchyme by Dario G, less than 24 hours after the popular producer, also responsible for World Cup anthem Carnival de Paris, had died at the age of 53.

As he often is where football is involved, Gary has been rather vocal with his thoughts on Euro 2024 away from the BBC studio as well, both on podcast The Rest is Football, where he questioned a substitution by Gareth Southgate during England's 1-0 win against Serbia and on his X Account.

And it was on the latter that broadcaster Gary lashed out at a decision to disallow Belgium a potential winner against Slovakia on Monday evening, after it was ruled that Lois Openda had handled the ball as he played a role in the goal. Not holding back with his disapproval, Gary blasted: "Bulls**t decision!"

Given the controversy surrounding the ruling, it quickly became a massive talking point online, meaning there were no shortage of responses to Gary's post.

Agreeing with the presenter, who was off duty at the time given Belgium v Slovakia aired on ITV, one follower replied: "Disgraceful - absolutely ridiculous that it’s been given as a handball" but, taking a difference stance, another X user commented: "Whether or not he intended to handle the ball, his hand touching the ball, put him into a better position."
