Meghan Markle has been offered a staggering '$1 million per second' to reprise her role as Rachel Zane on the hit legal drama, Suits.

Before becoming a member of the Royal Family through her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan, 42, was already a household name due to her seven-season stint on the popular series.

Speculation about Meghan's potential return to acting has been rife, but respect for her new royal status seemed to have put a halt to any formal offers.

However, this hasn't deterred companies from making ambitious proposals.

In a surprising move, Biotulin, a German cosmetics brand renowned for its organic Botox alternative, has made an eye-watering offer of $1million per second for Meghan to make a cameo appearance as her character Rachel Zane.

Despite the astronomical sum on offer, Meghan has yet to respond, OK! reports.

Biotulin, whose products claim to smooth wrinkles within an hour and are reportedly favoured by Meghan, made their intentions known in a bold tweet to NBCUniversal, the broadcaster behind Suits.

Their tweet read: "Att. Steve Burke: We are again offering you $5 million for a 5 sec appearance of Meghan Markle with our biological Botox gel BIOTULIN in your TV series 'Suits'

"Pls. check our offer with her agent. #biotulin @NBCUnivrsal #Stephenbburker @nbc @nbcnews."

This public proposal is the first time the former actress has been openly invited to step back into her character's shoes since her departure from the series.

Creator of Suits, Aaron Korsh, made the conscious decision to not ask Meghan to return as Rachel Zane for the show's finale in order to "respect her new life".

The beauty brand's lucrative offer comes after rumours that the duchess was supposedly rejected by Disney for being a "controversial figure," after stories circulated that her agent was trying to find her a role within the famed film company.

Meghan is said to be attempting to revive her acting career as she and her husband, Harry no longer have to deal with any royal duties.

Addressing the speculation about the duchess' alleged Hollywood dreams, an unnamed movie executive has said there is "limited plans" for Meghan to land a significant role.

Their comments come after the duchess reportedly requested her agent to seek out a superhero part for her with Marvel.

Speaking to Mail on Sunday, the film mogul shared: "Meghan needs Disney more than Disney needs Meghan. She's a controversial figure."

"Buzz about a deal has been circulating but it doesn't stretch beyond voiceover work."
