Miley Cyrus tweets 'egg-cellent' response to Liam Hemsworth baby rumours

Miley Cyrus has shut down rumours that she is expecting her first child with husband Liam Hemsworth, pleading for everyone to “leave her alone”.

Australian media reported the Nothing Breaks Like A Heart singer was pregnant with a baby girl just weeks after tying the knot.

But Cyrus dispelled all speculation by making reference to the popular egg image which became the most liked post in Instagram history this week.

Cyrus tweeted: “I’m not “ Egg-xpecting” but it’s “Egg-celent” to hear everyone is so “ Happy For Us” .... we’re happy for us too! “Egg-cited” for this next chapter in our lives....

“Now , can everyone leave me alone and go back to staring at an egg.”

The 26-year-old even photoshopped an image of the viral egg onto her midriff to drive her point home.
