More than 10,000 people visited a brand new Dorset market.

Around 200 artisan traders lined the streets of Dorchester selling their own food, drink, crafts, vintage clothing and items, plants and everything in between.

The market is held from 10am until 3pm on the fourth Sunday of each month from April through to November.

The trail started in Borough Gardens, running along West Walks, Bowling Alley Walk, South Street, South Walks and then into Brewery Square with stalls from the Atrium Health Centre into Eldridge Street, Drayhorse Yard and along Pope Street.

The event was branded ‘absolutely incredible’ by organisers who decided to bring the market to Dorchester following its huge success in both Sherborne and Shaftesbury

The next market will take place on May 26.
