One Direction star Liam Payne has broken his silence on Twitter and opened up about his new role as a dad to his and Cheryl’s baby son.
On Saturday night, the History singer and former Girls Aloud star took to Instagram to confirm that they are the proud parents of a bouncing baby boy, who they welcomed into the world on Wednesday.
Loved up Liam said he was in awe of his girlfriend and baby, writing alongside a snap of him with his son, ‘My close friends and family know there are very few times when I’m left speechless… wow! I’m incredibly happy to welcome our new baby boy into the world, it’s a moment that I will never forget for the rest of my life and my favourite memory I have so far.
‘I’m completely in awe of his incredible mother and how she has been the whole way through this, she’s really made my dreams come true.’

Days later, Liam is knee-deep in nappies and revealed he really is learning a whole set of new skills!
The heartthrob proved he’s doing his share of the night shifts when he tweeted a GIF of Friends character Ross Gellar screaming “NO! No, no!” with the caption: “When the fourth nappy happens in 5 minutes” at 2:30am last night.

Liam and Cheryl don’t yet have a name for their bundle of joy, but are getting help from Cheryl’s mum Joan, who has moved into the family home to help the first-time parents adjust to their life as a mum and dad.
A source said: “Joan will be very much on hand to help out Cheryl and Liam during the early stages of the baby’s life.
“It’s not going to be forever, but Joan has a room in the house and will be staying for however long she’s needed.

“Like any new grandmother, she just wants to offer as much support and possible, without treading on any footsteps.”
