Idris reveals the movie will be keeping him busy in the run up to Christmas but he's looking forward to spending lots of time with his nearest and dearest after work is over:

"The film opens in the US on Christmas day, so between now and Christmas I have more press, but I am gonna get rest. I'm so excited, my family is going to come round. It's gonna be the first Christmas without my dad, which I'm really sad about - but my family is getting together and we'll have fun," he explained.

The star also mused about the future of his career, admitting that he isn't ruling out anything now the opportunities are flooding in:

"I get all sorts of weird scripts; more so now," he revealed. "[I've done] great stuff and stuff that hasn't made the same radar but that I've enjoyed doing. You've gotta have a balance; I've probably only ever worked once a year so I like to do challenging things. I can't just play major characters all my life; I want to mix it up. I'd love to do some comedy."
