Noel Gallagher admits to pooing in irate neighbour's bath

Oasis were undeniably wild back in the day.

Amidst the craziness of parties and bust-ups (often with each other) of their rock ‘n’ roll lifestyles, one would be forgiven for assuming they’d perhaps settled down once the Gallaghers got older and speculatively wiser.

But it hasn’t stopped stories of the old days emerging, after Noel held his hands up to the accusation that he’d taken a dump in a neighbour’s bath circa 1989.

The story originated when a woman named Gladys Tomlinson spoke to Sunday Sport, alleging the devious brothers left a surprise for her in her bath. She claims the Gallagher brother broke into her home to discover her ‘knick-knacks and videos’ gone.

Gladys had some choice words for the now famous siblings, saying: ‘They was beyond the pale.’

Despite the incident happening almost 30 years ago, she recalled the incident like it was yesterday, telling the paper: ‘Pound to a penny that was one of them that s**t in the old bath.’

Amazingly, Noel, 50, not only saw the newsworthy story but he decided to fess up to the misdemeanor. He went on Instagram and shared the article featured in the Sport on Sunday, titled: ‘Did Liam and Noel s*t in my bath?’

Noel captioned the hilarious headline with his 594,000 followers: ‘It’s a fair cop guv’.
We thought it was Richard Madely’s gaff. Soz Gladys. No offence.’

It’s bold of him to admit to it, but the whole incident seems to have been taken with a pinch of salt. He even manages to get a cheeky dig in at former This Morning host Richard Madeley, which is impressive.

And the name drop isn’t totally random, either. According to him they actually lived pretty close to each other and the reference to him came after Madeley, 61, spoke previously about the brothers’ early years.

‘Him and his brother used to live quite close to us when we used to live in Manchester,’ Madeley revealed on Good Morning Britain.

‘They admitted in the early stages of their career they did a little bit of robbery, a little bit of burglary, and we think they did our house,’ he claimed.

‘I spoke to them about it, and we spoke about it, it was many years ago and they’ve probably forgotten about it now and they said, “Yeah, I think we did that one, yeah, I think we did that one, went in through the window, yeah”.’

Liam totally denies the allegation, telling his followers on Twitter than it wasn’t him and that he didn’t defecate in anyone’s bath.

‘For the record i never robbed RIchard n Judys and I didn’t do a s**t in Gladys bath Berlin is on as you were LG x’ he tweeted.

He did, however, admit to ‘messing up’ Manchester United players’ cars.

It’s not the first time a Gallagher story from the past has resurfaced. Only last month did he claim that German police ripped his teeth out with a pair of pliers, during an infamous Munich bar brawl back in the day.
