Ousmane Diomande 'decision' hints at summer exit as Liverpool transfer speculation continues
Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande has signed up with the same agency as Virgil van Dijk and Harvey Elliott as he continues to be linked with a summer move to Liverpool.
The 20-year-old Ivory Coast international enjoyed a strong campaign in Lisbon under the guidance of Ruben Amorim as Sporting CP claimed a second league title in four seasons. Diomande featured in 38 games across all competitions and the impressive nature of his performances have seen him linked with a big-money move to the Premier League, with Liverpool, Manchester United and Newcastle United all touted as potential suitors.

And now, according to Portuguese outlet Record, Diomande has changed agents. The defender has left Prosport International and will now be represented by ROOF - a German-based sports agency whose clients include Liverpool's Van Dijk, Elliott, Stefan Bajcetic and Billy Koumetio.
According to reports from Portugal, Diomande has a £68million release clause in his Sporting deal. But one Sporting insider speaking to the ECHO back in January said that he expected the Liga Portugal side to secure a fee of at least £100m for the defender.
They said: “I think he’s going to be Sporting’s next expensive sale. Sporting is going to make at least £100m with him. Mark my words.”
As reported by the ECHO last week, Liverpool are determined to sign a centre-back this summer following the departure of Joel Matip. The Reds are also keeping a close eye on the situation of Leny Yoro, with Real Madrid leading the chase for the highly-rated Lille defender.
