A Jet2 passenger was thrown off a flight from Liverpool for 'smoking'.

Spanish police met the flight from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Alicante on Saturday, April 20, to remove a disruptive passenger. The ECHO was told that a passenger was smoking on board and, when asked to extinguish, they assaulted a member of the cabin crew.

The passenger was removed from the flight when it landed in the Spanish city. He has been banned from Jet2 flights for life.
