TRAFFIC is queueing on the M25 in Essex as three lanes are closed after a car and lorry crash.

Lanes two, three and four have been shut off by emergency services between junction 26 in  Waltham Abbey and junction 27 for the M11.

This is due to a crash between a car and a lorry, National Highways has confirmed.

Emergency services including Essex Fire and Rescue Service are in attendance.

There are 30 minute delays above the normal journey time on approach, back to junction 25.

The closures are within the queues for the earlier vehicle fire closure after junction 27, according to AA.

Only one lane remains closed between junction 27 and junction 28 to clear the debris after the earlier "serious vehicle fire".
