Speaking about the media attention she has received due to Hollywood’s celebrity status, Alex added: “Anyone who has been through it would understand. It’s more if it’s in the public eye. I get I was married to someone who was on one of the nicest best shows on TV, for years, so there will be interest.

“‘There have been a lot of things that have been said that have no bearing on me or my marriage or my divorce. I have not commented and I will continue not to comment. I’m trying to get divorced. I want to carry on and do my recipes and write,” she continued to comment.

During her time on the daytime programme, Alex shared her views on the reports that she and Hollywood’s girlfriend Summer had become embroiled in an argument outside a shop.

“There was no spat no row, I didn’t call the police. All of the stories are so far from the truth that I don’t want to comment on them at all, all I can say is that there was no row. I didn’t use that language.”

Alex also confirmed that she would be attending the Good Food Show amid the reports that she was replacing Hollywood.

Whilst Hollywood’s spokesperson confirmed that he would not be present at the event at Birmingham’s NEC in June, they clarified that he hadn’t been sacked.
