Is Perrie Edwards’ Liverpool star boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain about to propose to her?

Perrie Edwards’ football star boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has supposedly hinted that he is looking to put a ring on the Little Mix star's finger.

The Liverpool midfielder, who made an appearance alongside Edwards at the Brit Awards earlier this week, appeared to hint he has plans to propose.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was asked by The Sun whether he intends to, “put a ring on it”, to which the publication claims he nodded and smiled before winking.

After a triumphant night for the girl group, who bagged the Best British video award, Edwards celebrated at the Sony after party at the Aqua Shard, with her beau on her arm.

Ahead of the ceremony, the couple, who have been dating since 2017, also made a joint appearance on the carpet after Edwards posed alongside her bandmates Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock for a number of group shots.

Edwards looked effortless as she posed in a navy blue gown with a sweetheart neckline and thigh-high split.

Oxlade-Chamberlain opted for fashionable cape-style jacket and an all-black ensemble underneath.

The night also saw Little Mix reignite their feud with Piers Morgan after host Jack Whitehall alluded to their differences with the Good Morning Britain host in an interview with the group.

Referencing Morgan’s outraged reaction to the promotional campaign for their single Strip, which saw the stars pose naked, Whitehall joked that “voluptuous breasts and four chins […] must have been like looking in the mirror for him.”

Though he couldn’t convince Little Mix to level more harsh words at Morgan, Whitehall did get a laugh out of the four piece, which was enough to prompt a flurry of tweets from Morgan, who claimed that he had been “fat-shamed.”

The group also made headlines after fans went wild for their "glow-up", comparing an old photo of the singers from the 2012 Brit Awards to this year's dramatic ensemble.
