South West Water will be carrying out some planned work in Exmouth tomorrow (Thursday, May 9) that will involve tankering waste to its Maer Lane sewage treatment works.

The pumping station at Phear Park will be shut down between 8am and 6pm to prepare for electrical upgrades.

During this time the tankers will be carrying waste to the sewage works and there will be temporary traffic lights on Marpool Hill.

A spokesperson for South West Water said: "We thank local residents for their understanding while we carry out this essential work.”

They added that there will be no impact on customer services during this work.
