Plea to find woman who was 'hit by car after arguing with man in street'

A woman was reportedly hit by a car after she was heard arguing with a man. Police were called following the 'disturbance' on Bromley Lane in Kingswinford but the man and woman had left the scene by the time they arrived on Tuesday, July 2.

Officers are now attempting to trace the pair to check that they are alright, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said. They added that the incident happened just before 10.30pm.

Anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage which could help with the investigation has been asked to get in touch with police. A spokesperson for the force said: "Did you witness a disturbance in Bromley Lane, Kingswinford on Tuesday evening?

"Shortly before 10.30pm, we were called after reports of a man and a woman arguing, before the woman was knocked down by a car. Both the man and the woman left the scene shortly after and we are keen to speak to them and make sure they are alright."
