Police plea for help to return book and birthday cards found in park

STOURBRIDGE Police have asked the public for help to return a book and birthday cards found in Mary Stevens Park, Norton.

Officers have taken the items to Brierley Hill Police Station to keep safe but they have issued a plea to people to help locate the owner.

In a plea on social media late last night, they said: “Can the good people of Stourbridge help return these birthday cards and book? Found in Mary Stevens Park. The notes inside point towards it being the young owner’s birthday today.

“They're with us, safe and sound at Brierley Hill Police Station.”
