Police in urgent search for mum and two children who have not been seen for nearly a week

An extensive search is ongoing for a mother and her two young children who have been missing from Birmingham for the past six days.

Police are urgently requesting assistance from the public to locate Della, who vanished from her residence on Wednesday, June 26, with her two children, raising concerns about their safety. The 29-year-old mum disappeared from Edgbaston in Birmingham accompanied by her seven-year-old daughter Mia Leigh and two-year-old son Myles.

West Midlands Police have issued a call for anyone with information on their whereabouts to get in touch immediately by dialling 999. Originally residing in Birmingham, Della reportedly has connections to Wolverhampton. Descriptions note Della as 5ft 3in tall with a slender build and long, straight brown hair, while Mia Leigh has dark brown hair and stands just below 4ft.

Young Myles is described as being roughly 2ft 5in tall, also with brown hair. To aid in their recovery, the force has disseminated photos of the family, reports the Mirror. In a plea posted on Twitter, Birmingham Police urged: "Have you seen Della and her two children Mia Leigh and Myles?

"Della, aged 29, Mia Leigh, seven, and Myles, two, are missing from the Edgbaston area of Birmingham and we're concerned for them. Della is 5ft 3in tall, slim with long, straight, brown hair. Mia Leigh is also slim with dark brown hair and is just under 4ft tall. Myles is 2ft 5in tall with brown hair. If you have any information that can help us find them please call 999 and quote PID: 447923."

The statement continued: "Although living in Birmingham, Della has links to #Wolverhampton." The appeal has been widely shared on social media, with many expressing their worries for the family. One person commented: "Hope she and kids are OK and found safe." Another echoed similar sentiments: "Wherever you are I hope you and your babies are safe."
