Police warning amid fake ticket zoo sales this summer
Police have warned the public over fake ticket sales for UK zoos this summer.
Thames Valley Police has altered people to scams involving fake tickets for the Cotswolds Wildlife Park.
Officers said on Saturday that a website has gained “unauthorised access” to personal as well as financial information.
In an appeal released on social media, Thames Valley Police warned the public and linked the incident to recent issues at other zoos.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We would like to make you aware of concerning scam involving fraudulent tickets related to the Cotswold Wildlife Park.
“The page 'Zoo tickets' is suspected of unauthorized access to personal and financial information.
“Similar incidents have been reported at other zoo's including Chester Zoo and Edinburgh Zoo.
“Cotswold Wild Life Park have taken the necessary steps to address this, including reporting this to police, cyber crime unit and Facebook.

“If these posts are seen on social media please could this be reported to the site as a fake.”
