Porsche Smashes Through Coffee Shop Window

A driver has suffered minor injuries when she crashed her Porsche sports car through the window of a coffee shop.

Two other people, a man and a woman, were briefly trapped inside the Caffe Nero outlet in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, after the crash on Saturday afternoon.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: "The incident involved one vehicle and resulted in minor injuries to a woman, who was the only person in the car."

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the smash happened at 12.24pm.

A statement released on its website said "One appliance and crew from Gerrards Cross and one from Slough attended, along with an officer.

"A man and a woman inside the shop were initially trapped and had minor injuries. Firefighters stabilised the car and assisted with its removal."

The road was briefly cordoned off but has now reopened to traffic.

It was not clear what caused the driver to crash the car, but police said the incident was not thought to be suspicious.
