Beverley Pride may only have one year under its belt, but it's already proving to be a huge success.

The inaugural Pride event for the town took over three years to come to fruition, but since a great first year in 2023, they're back for an entire week of celebration.

Starting June 24 until June 30, different venues will be hosting a wide range of activities for people to participate in.

Elise Gilbert, Lead organiser for the Beverley Pride told Hull Live: "Last year was super good. We went for an outdoor event last year and it went really well, then it rained."

This year, with the slogan "A Pride for everyone", a lot of attention was focused on creating things to do for people of all different interests, making celebrations more diverse and accessible.

Elise added, "We thought it was really important to reach out to different venues and different companies and say would you like to do this with us and collab? Loads of people have been supportive, and we're currently in the process of becoming a CIO so we're not a charity yet. We've got a lot of great support from the town this year in terms of making things happen, people have been very generous with their venues and facilities and stuff.

It's very community [driven] this year and feels like we've taken a different route this year and one that suits Beverley a lot more." Beverley Pride kicks off on Monday, June 24 .
