She’s only eight-months old, but Princess Charlotte has already proven her pedigree by topping Tatler’s ‘People who really matter’ list.

The royal baby may be fourth in line to the throne, but she sees off the second and third in line - dad, William and brother, George, in third and fourth place, as well as mum, Kate, who’s second.

It’s a poor show from the Queen, who’s rated fifth.

Alongside the royal baby’s cute mugshot, the magazine gushes: “Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana made a spectacular entrance into the public eye with an appearance on the steps of St Mary’s Hospital just hours after her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, went into labour.

“The gorgeous little bundle of joy has already won us over even though we know very little about her yet, other than the important fact that she is fourth in line to the throne.”

The Tatler List is the society magazine’s mysterious countdown of anyone who’s anyone - though they’re keeping the exact details of how the rankings are allocated close to their chests.

They announce the countdown of 620 names by saying: “We’ll never reveal the specifics of how people are ranked but you can exert your influence - to do star jumps of approval visit a profile, Facebook or Tweet it.

“We’ll be watching and every little cheer will be taken into account.”

Other notable additions include novelist Jilly Cooper (10th), actor Eddie Redmayne (12th), Lizzy Jagger, daughter of Sir Mick and Jerry Hall (14th) and Holly Branson, daughter of Richard (15th).

Prince Harry is stuck in 17th position, one spot ahead of Boris Johnson.
