PSA 'Jeopardy!' Fans, You Can Apply Now for a Spot on the New Spinoff Series

Heads up, Jeopardy! fans! A new spinoff series is officially coming, and the search is underway for contestants willing to put their pop culture knowledge to the test on TV.

Just days after Sony Pictures Television's Game Show Division announced a new competition show called Pop Culture Jeopardy! will stream on Amazon Prime Video, the franchise put out a request to find worthy applicants for the competition.

In a post uploaded on Jeopardy!'s Instagram on May 15, the show revealed the producers are looking to find teams of 3 to compete. What's more, applications are currently open and interested folks can take what's referred to as the "Anytime Test"online to see if they qualify to participate in the latest Jeopardy! iteration.

"It’s giving... your time to shine ✨," read the caption. "Grab two friends and take the #PopCultureJeopardy! Anytime Test with the link in bio."

When folks learned that Jeopardy! was casting for an all-new series, many bombarded the comments with hopes of making it on the show.

"It’s our time to shine," one person declared on Instagram. "[I] would crush... need two partners!! ✊," another wrote. "I was BORN ready! 🔥," a different follower added.

So, how do you apply for the Pop Culture Jeopardy! spinoff series? As the Instagram post notes, once you register and create a team of 3 people, each team member should take the qualifying test online.

Just be aware that applicants may run into a small technical issue, as one person on Instagram encountered when applying. "So no one else can actually click on 'Create a New Team,' right? I've made my account and now, nothing?" one fan asked in the comments.

Luckily, Jeopardy! quickly replied with technical support. "If you are seeing an 'Access Denied' message while registering for the Pop Culture Jeopardy! Anytime Test, please try uploading a different photo during registration," read the official response. "If the problem persists, try uploading a photo in your Jeopardy.com profile before registering for the test. We are working to resolve this issue. Thank you for your interest in Pop Culture Jeopardy!."
