The Royal Air Force's acclaimed Red Arrows will be in our skies in the coming weeks, showcasing their remarkable skills in the UK. What's more, some of their spectacles of aerial showmanship will be taking place in the West Country.

The Red Arrows have already stamped their mark in history, performing nearly 5,000 displays across an impressive 57 countries. This is their 60th season and the distinctive jets never fail to wow spectators.

We have a list of dates and locations where you can still see the Red Arrows this year. That said, the RAF has reminded fans that dates and venues are subject to alterations, and more performances may be announced later.

The Red Arrows website states: "The team are members of the Armed Forces and are proud to represent the UK. Many of the pilots and other members of the team joined the Royal Air Force as a direct result of seeing the Red Arrows perform as children.", reports the Mirror.

The Red Arrows, formed at RAF Waddington, in Lincolnshire, during the mid-1960s, made their British debut at the Biggin Hill International Air Fair, a former World War II fighter station in southeast London. In 2021, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) sought assistance from the civil sector to develop an eco-friendly smoke system for the team's aircraft, as part of its commitment to make the RAF net-zero by 2040.
