Reports of footballs kicked at cars and houses in Poundbury

POLICE in Dorchester have received reports of footballs being kicked against cars and houses in Poundbury.

Police Community Safety Officers (PCSOs) patrolled the areas of Poundbury Stores and Woodlands Crescent yesterday due to reports of anti-social behaviour.

These included reports of people "kicking footballs against cars and houses" and "catapults".

A spokesperson for Dorchester Police said: "PCSO 6534 patrolled the areas of The Poundbury Stores and Woodlands Crescent this evening as part of a wider patrol

"The area was quiet when PCSO 6534 attended however patrols will continue to cover this area as part of our 100 Days of Summer patrols."
