It might still be almost two months until Christmas Day, but that hasn't stopped Rochelle Humes from getting into the spirit and decorating her tree.

The TV presenter and former Saturdays singer revealed on her Instagram Stories — reported via Daily Mail — that she and husband Marvin have already put up a Christmas tree in their home.

"Call me what you want I'm SO happy," she wrote in a caption to her picture.

In a follow-up Stories post, she shared an article about how those who put up their Christmas decorations early are happier, writing: "If you don't like it when people celebrate Christmas early then look away now. In my defence it's actually scientific."

Humes is not the only famous person to have gone early with her Christmas celebrations and posted it about it this year.

In recent weeks, the likes of Katherine Ryan, Helen Flanagan and Love Island star Amy Hart have already proudly shared their decorations.

None of these stars, though, were as eager as Southampton mother Pip Bensley, who opted to put her decorations up over the August bank holiday weekend.

"The cost of the lights isn't much compared to the happiness they give. Spread the Christmas joy. Imagine if the world was full of happy Christmas people," she said.

Humes, meanwhile, has been back in the news recently in the wake of her former Saturdays bandmate Una Healy saying she would love an opportunity to reunite the group.

"I would love to do something with the girls again. I’m ready for it, any time," she said.

Healy added: “It would be best if it was all five. But if everybody isn’t on the same page and there is one that doesn’t want to do it or isn’t feeling it, they shouldn’t be forced into it."

Humes said earlier this year that she "can’t imagine doing" a Saturdays reunion, describing her time in the group as "a lovely chapter that ended for me".
