Boyzone's Ronan Keating has hinted that the band may possibly reunite for an exceptional project. However, he was clear that a reunion tour is off the table.

Chatting with Ok! Magazine, the pop idol alluded to an upcoming biographical film about Boyzone's journey to global fame.

Ronan first shot into the limelight in 1994 as part of Boyzone, before the group disbanded in 2000. In 2007, they staged a triumphant comeback, only to be plagued by disaster when their bandmate, Stephen Gately, tragically died in 2009.

The year 2018 saw Ronan, Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch once again share the stage in honour of Boyzone's 25th anniversary, reports the Irish Mirror.

When asked about possible future reunions, the dad-of-five said: "There are no plans to perform with the band, but we do have something on the cards that is very exciting. I can't say too much, though, it's exciting and it's an adventure."

Opening up on the band's next potential step, he mentioned the assembly of a commemorative film that encapsulates three decades of Boyzone's existence. He shared that the search is on for vintage video clips, stating: "We're compiling some old content from old performances and have asked fans to send us their old footage."

This news comes amidst the singer alerting fans to the presence of fraudulent social media accounts using his name to solicit personal information from unsuspecting users.

He advised: "Hi everybody, it's Ronan here. A lot of people are getting scammed on social media. People are setting up fake accounts saying that they are me."

"People are getting DM'd asking for money. I would never ask anyone for money. It's not real. Please unfollow these accounts and certainly don't respond."

"Thank you so much for following me and lots of love," he added.
