Ruth Langsford explains 'racy, saucy, fun' pictures after accidentally sharing rude snap

Ruth Langsford was forced to explain on Loose Women today why she had photos of a man’s penis on her mobile phone, insisting the racy snaps were just normal things that “friends send to each other”.

Errrr, really? (insert crying with laughter emoji here!)

Ruth – who is married to fellow ‘This Morning’ host Eamonn Holmes – was left faced on Sunday night when she tweeted a photo of herself standing with her mother on Mother’s Day, but she forgot to crop out the camera roll below the picture which included x-rated images of male genitalia.

*shudders*

Ruth wrote alongside the snap: “My wonderful Mum & big Sis. Thinking of those who no longer have their Mum’s….. you’ll always have memories x.”

Her gaff hit the headlines on Monday and her fellow ‘Loose Women’ pannelist Coleen Nolan couldn’t resist bringing it up, saying: “It takes a lot to shock me but boy you’ve shocked me with your headlines today.”

Ruth admitted that she was trying to find a good photo of her mum looking at the camera and screenshotted the best snap that she had, adding: “What I didn’t know is that when you send these racy pictures that go around, that your girlfriends send you, I didn’t realise that they get saved to your camera role.”

Lol. This meme, of a woman holding a man’s private region over her face, was next to a children’s TV character.

She went on: “I posted the picture saying Happy Mother’s Day everybody, and I didn’t know until I came in here.”

“I blame the girlfriend who sends me those rude things, you know who you are.”

Ruth is making a habit of talking about sex and recently opened up about her life beneath the sheets with hubby Eamonn.

Last week, she left viewers bemused when she revealed the pair have a very “active” sex life and even admitted that Friday nights are the nights that they are most likely to get it on.

“As soon as music starts he just goes like a steam train. My husband can be seen to be doing it most Fridays,” she told the Loose Women panel.
