Rylan Clark may be one of the busiest men in showbiz as he's announced his next project to the support of his fans and followers. The BBC Radio 2 host is currently on screens in his own travel-style series with Rob Rinder while also preparing for his new dating show to be released.

Back in March, Rylan returned home for the first time in weeks and gave a glimpse at what he'd been up to. Captioning the sun-soaked post on Instagram, Rylan revealed to his 2.1 million followers: "A month on an island in Colombia shooting Dating Naked UK. The best times, The best people, The best memories. Coming soon."

Dating Naked UK was previously announced last year and is a ten-episode reality TV programme following contestants living together and looking for that special connection in their birthday suits.

The one-hour episodes are expected to premier on Paramount+ in the UK later in the year and Rylan shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Monday (May 20) and teased: "Just see a first cut of Dating Naked…. Obsessed (and I was there ffs) x."

But while he waits for that to air, Rylan is busy once again as alongside hosting his Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 2, he's also releasing another podcast with BBC Sounds. Following the success of his How to Be a Man series in which he explored masculinity through conversations with prominent figures and celebrities, the TV and radio star is set to explore another topic.

Sharing a new promo picture for his next podcast, Rylan said on Instagram: "After the success of ‘How to be a man’ I’m delighted to announce How to be in the Spotlight. Coming this June to @bbcsounds."

And fans were quick to share their comments of support. @dana_cutesy_years said: "Ooooh exciting!!! Can’t wait to listen." @hutchinson8965dannybrad replied: "Looking forward to it already." @bethoakes43 commented: "This is brilliant news just wish you could have your own chat show that would be forward thinking diversity and fun xx good luck Rylan."

@jacquelinemackay747 posted: "I look forward to it." @helenlbrown75 added: "LOVED how to be a man. It was so enlightening, super intelligent and sensitive interviewing. Very much looking forward to this next series."

Meanwhile, Rylan has been heard detailing the behind-the-scenes 'trauma' he suffered while competing on The X Factor. The 35-year-old originally competed on the ITV singing show back in 2012, but has now shared how he felt about being branded the 'joke act'.

And in the final episode of his BBC travel series Rob And Rylan's Grand Tour, Rylan admits he was forced to perform songs he wasn't comfortable with. "Every week I was thrown into the lion's den doing stuff that I didn't know," he explained. "It's like an internal thing now, when you've been through that experience. Once you've been through that, when someone goes, ''Go on, just do it', it makes me go, ''I can't, I can't just go and do it'."

He added: ''I feel like I've worked so hard to move away from that 'f*****g idiot' that I was perceived as, that character who couldn't sing. That can f**k someone up majorly."
