Sam Thompson could bring in more than £1m after I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here as the star will be "hot property" in the showbiz world – despite revealing his plans to quit the TV world.

PR and entertainment expert for Press Box, Lynn Carratt, told Yahoo News: "Sam is now the bookie's favourite to be crowned King of the Jungle, and winning the show could see him on his way to banking over £1m with various TV shows and endorsement deals. Sam's fanbase has grown since he entered I'm a Celebrity, and he will likely be able to pick and choose what he does next. He'll be hot property."

Before entering the ITV jungle series, Thompson told The Joe Marler Show: "I think I’ve probably come to near the end of my TV stuff. I’ve done a lot. That would probably be the last one. I feel like that would be a really nice way to go out."

Already Thompson has proved he is incredibly likeable in the jungle show for his excitable personality and bundles of enthusiasm.

So much so, viewers voted for the Made In Chelsea star to be the camp leader. He has devoted much of his time in camp to cheering up the other campmates and making them laugh.

While Thompson doesn't have much confidence in his camp leading ability after expressing his doubts last night, he said he knows he can always rely on his humour.

In a piece to camera, he said on Tuesday: "I'm not a good camp leader. At best, I can make people laugh!"

Is it the end of Sam Thompson's TV career?

The radio host made his name on reality TV series Made In Chelsea in 2013.

He has mastered reality TV including stints on Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity Coach Trip, Celebs Go Dating, The Celebrity Circle, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and Celebrity Ghost Hunt.

PR guru Ms Carratt said: "Over the years, I have met Sam Thompson a few times, and he has been nothing but friendly - much like he is coming across in I'm a Celebrity. He is a likeable chap who has an infectious energy about him."

"Sam is a veteran of reality TV," the PR mastermind said. "You have to hand it to Sam: over the past decade, he has built up an impressive career portfolio, and he has come a long way since his time as a Candy Kittens intern.

"He co-hosts the hugely popular podcast Staying Relevant with best pal Pete Wicks, he presents on hits radio and is co-owner of the Dinelli Eyewear."

The PR expert added: "I believe Sam was referring to his reality TV career when he said he was coming to near the end of his TV journey because, with the exception of Strictly and Dancing on Ice, there aren't many more shows he can appear on."

What will Sam Thompson do after I'm A Celeb?

After doing I'm A Celebrity, more career opportunities are likely to open for the star - especially as he has proved so likeable during the series.

Thompson could be set to bank £1m with various deals if he wins I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, according to a PR expert.

Ms Carratt has also lifted the lid on the potential career moves Thompson could be eyeing up when he leaves the jungle.

"One TV gig I don't think Sam will give up anytime soon is on Love Island," she said. "As a self-confessed Love Island super fan, he joined the ITV2 team earlier this year as their podcaster and became a regular on Love Island: Aftersun.

"The public saw a different side to the former Made in Chelsea star when, in May this year, he opened up about his ADHD diagnosis in an E4 documentary.

"Sam could also join forces with his girlfriend, Zara McDermott, to form a presenting duo. Zara, who as well as appearing as a contestant on this year's Strictly, is currently making a name for herself as a documentary presenter.

"Who knows, the pair could be the next Richard and Judy in the making and end up presenting This Morning - who we know are on the lookout for new hosts."
