Scotland Vegan Festival will take place next weekend.

Organised by Vegan Events UK, the event will be held on July 6 and offers free entry for under 16s.

The festival, taking place between 10.30am and 4:30pm at Paisley Lagoon Sports Centre, is set to be a vegan extravaganza with "everything vegan you could possibly need all under one roof."

Among the 80 stalls that will be featured are Glasgow’s Anderson Aromatics, known for their all-natural, eco-friendly, sustainably sourced, zero-waste vegan skincare, and Miracle’s Mission, an organisation that helps animals worldwide with its rescue, neuter and education programme in Borneo and Malaysia, providing stray animals with safety, comfort and health.

Curry Pot in Partick and Sgaia Foods on Lomond St will be among the caterers at the festival, and local businesses such as Simple Seitan Kits, Slaped Toasties, Fetcha Chocolates, and Bamboo Brushes will set up stalls at the event.

Victoria Bryceson, the festival organiser, said: “I’m really excited about the Scotland Vegan Festival.

"We had such amazing feedback from everyone last year, I’m expecting it to be a sell-out.

"I’m sure that people from Paisley, Glasgow and beyond will enjoy the stalls, talks, workshops and atmosphere.

"We look forward to welcoming everyone, not just vegans, to the event. Our goal is to continue to bring vegans and non-vegans together, to support local vegan business, and to show just how easy it is to be vegan.”

The other stalls include world food caterers, a big selection of foods, beauty and skincare products, candles, charity merchandise, and more.

Entry is payable at the door.
