Scottish farm where you can pet baby goats and Highland cows is 'perfect' date spot

A Scottish travel blogger has shared an an "amazing" animal petting farm that she described as the "perfect spot" for a date.

Anna Gill, 27, visited Farm Stop in Portlethen just outside of Aberdeen last week. The blogger, who runs the TikTok account Life in Scotland, says the petting farm allows you to feed and cuddle the animals.

In the clip, which has since been viewed more than 298,000 times, Gill can be seen holding and petting a baby goat. Other animals such as Highland cows and alpacas can also be spotted.

Over the footage, the Aberdeenshire blogger states: "Oh my goodness, if you're looking for a unique date night in Scotland then we have found the perfect spot."

She adds: "So this is Farm Stop in Portlethen where you get to feed, cuddle, and take photos with all the gorgeous wee farm animals. The baby goats were definitely our favourite but you can tell that the animals were genuinely so well cared for and loved, and the tours were very clean and professional."

Gill can then be seen enjoying a hot chocolate as the sun sets. In the video, she describes the views at the farm as "gorgeous", and urges viewers to add it to their "bucket list".

Speaking to the Daily Record, Gill said: "The experience was amazing! I didn't know what to expect when we arrived, but it was so fun getting to cuddle the baby goats, feed the pigs and see the Highland cows.

"We were there for two hours but it wasn’t boring at all and we finished the evening with a hot chocolate."

Since being posted to TikTok a week ago, the video has received more than 21,000 likes. It also has more than 160 comments, with many Scots keen to share their thoughts on the clip.

One wrote: "Ugh it is so amazing! We travelled from Glasgow for this and it was so worth it."

Meanwhile, Farm Stop itself commented: "Thank you so much for visiting and sharing, love the video."
