Seven offenders banned from driving at Hull Magistrates' Court last week

People caught driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, motorists driving without due care and attention and those without licences or insurance have been sentenced by magistrates in Hull in recent days.

Appearing at Hull Magistrates' Court, many motorists from across Hull and East Yorkshire were handed lengthy driving bans, points on their licences and hefty fines for an array of driving offences.

Here are seven people who were sentenced for driving offences last week.

Daniel Lovelock, 42, of Thorgill Grove, Hull pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cocaine and cannabis and whilst over the legal alcohol limit. He was disqualified from driving for 22 months and ordered to pay a fine of £833, a victim services surcharge of £333 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Luke Boulter, 26, of Queensgate Street, Hull pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cocaine and cannabis. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay a fine of £200 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

James Brookes Bloom, 52, of Main Street, Tickton pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cocaine and clonazepam. He was disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to pay a fine of £320, a victim services surcharge of £128 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Alex Rosier, 37, of Front Street, Langtoft pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and driving whilst under the influence of cannabis. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and ordered to pay a fine of £120 and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Mark Blackwell, 44, of Minster Avenue, Beverley pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cocaine. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months and ordered to pay a fine of £120, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £48 victim services surcharge.

Cameron Mathers, 21, of Sewerby Headlands, Bridlington pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of alcohol, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. He was disqualified from driving for three years and ordered to pay a fine of £400, a £160 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Liam Moss, 26, of Westbrick Avenue, Hull pleaded guilty to driving whilst under the influence of cannabis and driving without insurance. He was disqualified from driving for one year and ordered to pay a £200 fine, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £80 victim services surcharge.
