Shania Twain Speaks Out after Tour Bus AccidentJo Hale

Shania Twain is traveling through her native Canada during the latest leg of her "Queen of Me" tour, and her crew members were involved in a scary situation. The 58-year-old singer took to Instagram to update her fans and thank them for their support.

According to People, a crew bus and a truck from Shania's tour were involved in an accident on the highway between Winnipeg and Saskatoon caused by poor weather conditions. Her management company, Maverick Management, explained, "Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather. Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals. We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”

Shania, who was not on the bus at the time of the accident, echoed the sentiments with a message on her Instagram story. Shania wrote, "Thank you so much for the out pour of love and support from everyone. Anyone needing medical care is receiving great support. The local community and every single crew person has been phenomenal, in the face of a very scary scenario. Hug and hold those you love, we are doing the same!"

The "Queen of Me" tour is scheduled to resume on November 11 with a date in Calgary, and there have not been changes to the schedule at this time. We're keeping Shania and her team in our thoughts during this difficult time.
