DRIVERS and bus passengers are facing delays after reports of a crash on the A127 heading to Southend this evening.

Continued roadworks as well as a crash on the A127 Southend-bound, near Eastwood, are causing "significant delays", according to First Bus.

The 25 bus service towards Southend is currently affected with delays of 25 minutes being reported.

A First Essex spokesman said: "This is not expected to ease for some time yet."

An average speed of 15 miles per hour is being reported.
