Priorities team Sergeant Zaineb Chaanbi said: "Warrants like this are a vital part of our efforts to tackle vehicle crime. Along with colleagues from other force teams we were able to recover these stolen cars and gather intelligence to help us in future.

"We often rely on information from the public to take action against vehicle crime, so if you suspect this is happening where you live, let us know via 101 or Live Chat."

Police said they know how distressing vehicle thefts and car cannibalism can be, and are committed to taking strong action wherever and whenever they receive intelligence. Teams across the force regularly carry out warrants and enforcement action targeting known vehicle crime hotspots.
