Strictly announces double dance performances for this weekend

Strictly Come Dancing has announced its song and dance list for the semi final this weekend - which includes double performances for every couple.

It will be the first time this season that the contestants have danced more than one routine in a single week, cranking up the pressure as they battle to make the final.

Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu are set to give a nod to their close shave in the dance off last week with a Paso Doble to Survivor by 2WEI ft Edda Hayes, and will then change the pace with an American Smooth to Easy On Me by Adele.

Fleur East and Vito Coppola have a tough week of training ahead as they will dance a Charleston to Tu Vuo' Fa L'Americano by Fiorello. as well as a Paso Doble to The Time Is Now by Moloko.

Last week's leaderboard toppers Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez are hoping for another win with an Argentine Tango to Here Comes The Rain Again by Eurythmics, and a Waltz to Only One Road by Céline Dion.

Will Mellor and Nancy Xu, who joined them at the top of last week's scores, are also aiming to repeat their success with a mash-up Couple's Choice to Know How/Fools Gold/Step On by Young MC/The Stone Roses/Happy Mondays, followed by a Paso Doble to Uccen – DWTS Remix by Taalbi Brothers, DWTS.

Fan favourites Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal will dance a Charleston to Pencil Full Of Lead by Paolo Nutini, and a Waltz to What The World Needs Now by Burt Bacharach.

Strictly's schedule has been shaken up by the World Cup again this weekend, with the live show moved to Sunday night and the results show airing on Monday, when the 2022 finalists will be announced.

The grand final is expected to take place as usual on the following Saturday night, 17 December.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
