St Helens recorded the only five-figure attendance in Super League round 12, with 11,367 fans watching their 40-10 mauling of Leeds Rhinos. The result was enough to keep the Saints at the top of the pile with the halfway stage of the competition fast approaching.

Elsewhere, 9,440 were at the Stade Gilbert Brutus as Warrington Wolves avenged two early season defeats to Catalans Dragons with a 16-8 win in Perpignan. Sam Burgess described the win as the most enjoyable yet with the Wire, who face Wigan at Wembley in the Challenge Cup final in two weeks time, standing up as a genuine contender.

In West Yorkshire, Castleford Tigers saw a crowd of 8,269 watch their 30-22 victory over Hull FC. The Black and Whites sold over 700 tickets ahead of the match, but a late fightback wasn't enough to prevent a tenth succesive defeat.

Finally, 3,750 saw Hull KR hammer London Broncos 64-14. The Robins were 46-0 up at half-time.
