Teen, 16, injured in horror off-road motorbike crash with bus in Bishopbriggs

A teenager has been rushed to hospital after a horror bus crash in Bishopbriggs.

Emergency services responded to the incident on Cadder Road just after 7pm on Friday, April 19. Officers say that the crash involved an off-road motorbike and bus.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital for treatment. The nature of his condition is unknown.

Police have now launched a probe into the crash.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.05pm on Friday, 19 April, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a bus and an off-road motorbike on Cadder Road, Bishopbriggs.

"The passenger of the motorbike, a 16-year-old male youth, was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
