Teenage boy charged, 15, after drink-driving incident in town

A 15-year-old boy has been charged on suspicion of drink-driving on a town estate.

Police arrested the teenager on the Chalkstone estate in Haverhill after he was stopped while riding a red and white pit-bike.

The male rider was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol, driving otherwise in accordance with a driving licence, driving without insurance, driving without a registration mark and possession of false or fraudulent ID.

He was charged and released on bail to appear before Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich on June 17.
