Yahoo News TOWIE's Gemma Collins announces engagement after Maldives proposal
The Only Way is Essex star and media personality Gemma Collins has announced that she is engaged.
The GC, who has appeared on a host of reality shows, including Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing on Ice and her own series Diva, revealed that her long-term partner Rami Hawash popped the question to her on holiday in the Maldives.
Gemma has been sharing Instagram posts of the couple's getaway, and in an Instagram Story she posted a photo of herself showing off her engagement ring, and linked to a story in The Sun which features a video of the proposal.

The video sees the two having dinner on the beach, with Rami getting down on one knee and asking Gemma if she would marry him. Rami also arranged a flaming love heart strewn with rose petals to make the moment even more romantic.
This isn't the first time that Gemma and Rami have been engaged, or even the second.
The couple first dated in 2011 and broke up shortly after they announced their first engagement in 2013, they reconnected and announced their second engagement in 2021, but called it off again. Gemma explained that there was complications with the paperwork from his previous marriage.

Gemma has stated that she would love to get married in Mykonos, and has compared herself to Jennifer Lopez, who didn't marry Ben Affleck until around two decades after their initial relationship.
Meanwhile, last year Gemma gave her thoughts on the current iteration of TOWIE, and it's safe to say she didn't care for it.
"I watched it the other night and I'll never get those minutes of my life back," she said. "What's happened? There were about two scenes in it. Chloe Brockett was good, and the new girl Elma [Pazar], but the rest of them were terrible. There's no stars there, darling – we were stars."
