How similar are The Traitors UK and The Traitors US?
As The Traitors US launches season two on BBC, we compare it to our homegrown version of the hit reality show.
The Traitors makes a welcome return to screens this week with season two of the US version - but can fans of the reality hit expect more of what they love, or something very different?
We look at how different the two shows are from each other, as well as the familiar elements they can expect to see as the US cast take to the round table.
Where are The Traitor US and UK filmed?
Viewers giving the US version a go will see some familiar settings for the intrigue to unfold as both shows use the same location.
The Traitors has become known for its stunning shots of the Scottish Highlands, the perfect backdrop for the outdoor challenges, while round tables and meals are hosted in Ardross Castle.
We'll see the US cast take their seats around the iconic round table for banishments and they'll gather in the same breakfast room to find out who has been murdered, while the Traitors will conduct their secret meetings in the same hidden area.

Who hosts The Traitors US and UK?
Claudia Winkleman is a favourite with viewers of the UK show thanks to her dry humour in dramatic scenes and enviable wardrobe.
But for the US series, Winkleman gives over the run of the castle to Scottish actor Alan Cumming who has had lots of success in America.
Cumming also hosted season one and is signed up for season three, but told Radio X's Chris Moyles Show that he had little crossover with Winkleman.
He said: "We’ve done two, so the same as Claudia’s one. We do them at the same time. We actually did ours first, then that finished, then we just overlap, although we’ve never met. We leave notes to each other on the make-up mirror and that’s all. She kisses the make-up mirror... Kisses a paper towel and sticks it onto the make-up mirror."
Who takes part in The Traitors?
The UK version has been open to the general public for the first two seasons, although a celebrity version has now been announced for 2025.
However, the US version is a little different - in season one, the cast was a mix of celebrity and non-celebrity players, while seasons two and three have gone for a full celebrity cast.
Taking part in season two are two players UK viewers will recognise, Love Island winner and reality TV star Ekin-Su Culculoglu and former Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow.

Is the prize the same?
The Traitors fans will know that there's no hard and fast prize fund - the contestants have to work together to build up the money throughout the show by winning challenges.
At the end of the series, if there are any Traitors left they will scoop the entire prize, while if the Faithfuls win they will split it between them.
US players can potentially win a little more if they reach the final as they can get a maximum of $250,000 (£196,000) while the top UK prize fund is £120,000.
