Vehicles and a quantity of Euros were stolen from homes in a quiet Devon village. Two properties in Winkleigh were targeted last month, Tuesday 25 June, and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward to find the offenders.

The burglars targeted the two properties in the west of the village around 12.30 am. It is reported that the offenders escaped with a number of Euros from one home and targeted vehicles from both properties.

However, the stolen vehicles were located nearby and returned to their owners. Devon and Cornwall police are also calling for any CCTV footage or doorbell cameras in the surrounding area that may have captured the incidents.
