Victoria line delays: Commuters hit with 'grim' start to the week as entire line disrupted by faulty train
The Victoria line was thrown into chaos on Monday after the service was beset with problems, including a faulty train and staff shortages.
The busy line, which sees 200 million passengers a year, reported severe delays during rush-hour after issues with a faulty train at Kings Cross station.
This was after Victoria station was closed in the early hours because of a “shortage of staff”.
Disgruntled commuters across the entire line were faced with nightmare journeys and a “grim start to the week”.
I agree, Laura. A grim start to the week. Every train packed now and impossible to get on at Highbury & Islington.
