Waitrose issues 'do not consume' warning over dairy product as it could contain pieces of blue cloth
Waitrose is urging customers to return a dairy product because it may contain pieces of blue cloth.
The retailer is recalling Essential Waitrose & Partners Salted Dairy Butter, pack size 500g. The Food Standards Agency has also shared the warning, saying: "The possible presence of blue cloth makes the product unsafe to eat."
Anyone who may have bought the affected product is asked not to eat it but return it to a Waitrose store for a refund. Full details of the item are given below.

A warning notice from Waitrose says: "We are recalling this product due to the potential presence of blue cloth. Do not consume, package up item, return the product to your local Waitrose & Partners branch for a refund. We apologise that it has been necessary to recall this product and for the inconvenience caused."
