Wayne Rooney and pregnant Coleen in 'big row' over Doctor Foster

Wayne Rooney and pregnant Coleen are apparently still struggling to put Wayne’s latest scandal behind them, with the pair become embroiled in a huge fight whilst watching Doctor Foster, it has been reported.

The popular BBC drama focuses on a woman and her cheating ex-husband, Simon, whose affair led to their marriage breakdown.

According to The Sun, Coleen and Wayne attempted to watch the show together but an argument quickly erupted between them.

A source shared: “Wayne and Coleen have both been through a lot in recent weeks and the atmosphere at home has been tense.

“They were trying to have a quiet night in and were just watching Doctor Foster like millions of other couples.

“But something to do with the storyline sparked a big row between them so they ended up switching it off.”

The claims come shortly after it was revealed that Wayne was pulling out all of the stops to win back his wife’s trust after he was caught drink-driving another woman’s car last month.

The Everton footballer was slapped with a two-year driving ban and sentenced to 100 hours of community service for driving three times over the legal alcohol limit, with the woman he was with suggesting that she would have slept with Wayne had they not been stopped by the police.

Speaking to Closer magazine, an insider explained: “Coleen wishes she could forget about the past – but she knows from experience that the latest incident will be constantly dredged up.

“Wayne is begging her every day to give him another chance and has bought the family a new home in Portugal, but right now Coleen doesn’t feel ready to discuss the future.”

Just last week Coleen sparked a social media storm when she posted a photo to Instagram that showed her without her wedding ring on, however, neither she or Wayne have commented on the speculation surrounding their marriage.

Coleen is currently pregnant with her and her husband’s fourth child, with the pair already mum and dad to seven-year-old Kai, four-year-old Klay, and one-year-old Kit.
