Netflix is getting ready for the summer by doing a spring clean of its streaming platform, so to speak, because a number of TV shows and films will be removed in July.
From 1 July to the end of the month, Netflix subscribers will no longer be able to access certain content as it will be removed in order to clear space for the new. This means that viewers will only have a set amount of time to watch something they might want to see before it's gone for good.

What's leaving Netflix in July 2024?
1 July will be the day that Netflix removes the most content from its platform, with 38 titles being taken off the streamer in total. This purge includes iconic films like Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, Gone Girl and The Blind Side. Other titles that will be removed include Rowan Atkinson's hit films Johnny English Strikes Again and Mr Bean's Holiday, as well as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's film Mr & Mrs Smith.

Netflix subscribers who might have been using the streamer's original fitness programmes will have to find a new alternative because on 2 July a number of workout videos are being removed. This includes 10-minutes, 20-minutes and 30-minutes workouts, as well as HIT training and Yoga.
Elsewhere in the month, Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street will be removed from Netflix on 10 July, while Christmas favourite The Holiday is being taken off the platform on 3 July. Other big name films to be removed include Free Fire on 12 July and Denis Villeneuve's Dune on 9 July.
True crime fans might want to try and catch the documentary film Abducted in Plain Sight before it is removed from Netflix on 15 July, while superhero fans might want to watch Morbius before it is taken off the platform on 13 July.
Rom-com fans will only have until 8 July to watch and enjoy The Proposal starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock before it is removed from Netflix, while independent sci-fi hit District 9 is one of the major titles being removed on 1 July.
