Much like the 1980s original, the story centre around Kevin (Kal-El Tuck) a young history buff who discovers his bedroom is a portal into the past and future, and when a group of bandits waltzes in with a map that'll let them travel across time and space he decides to join. But as the group go from Ancient Greece to Stone Henge, they are being followed by a being called Pure Evil.
Lady in the Lake | 19 July
Natalie Portman and Moses Ingram co-star in Lady in the Lake, a new drama that follows two women on a collision course with each other after a young girl disappears in Baltimore on Thanksgiving 1966. Maddie Schwartz (Portman) is a Jewish housewife with a secret bast, while Cleo Johnson (Ingram) is a mother struggling to provide for her family while navigating political upheaval.
The noir thriller sees the Maddie become fixated on Cleo in unexpected ways, and explores the price that women pay for their dreams.
Sunny | 10 July
Rashida Jones leads this new series about a woman who lives in Kyoto, Japan, and whose life is turned upside down when her husband and son disappear after a plane crash. In the wake of this disaster she is given a robot from her husband's company named Sunny, who helps try to fill the void and develop a friendship with her.
Fly Me to the Moon | 12 July (in cinemas)
Starring Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson, Apple TV+'s next big cinematic release is Fly Me to the Moon, which asks the question: what if the moon landing was staged?
