Disney+ is treating subscribers to several exciting new releases in December, including the latest blockbuster hits and intriguing new shows.
As well as being the home of an array of Christmas favourites, the streamer is set to introduce a new generation to the works of Rick Riordan, while Marvel fans will have something to binge over the festive period thanks to an intriguing new release.

Theater Camp | 6 December
The Bear fans rejoice because Ayo Edebiri's new film Theater Camp is landing on Disney+ this December. A musical also starring Ben Platt and Molly Gordon, the film follows a group of friends and drama instructors at a camp in upstate New York who must do everything they can to save their thespian paradise from being closed down.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever | 8 December
In terms of festive specials, one notable addition to Disney+ is Diary of a Wimpy Kid Christmas: Cabin Fever, which is the seventh instalment in the franchise and sees Greg Heffley struggle to be good over the holidays, until he and his family are snowed in and have to spend time together.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny | 15 December
Harrison Ford's final outing as Indiana Jones is landing on Disney+ this December, the fifth film in the iconic franchise finds Indy joining forces with his goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) when they come across an ancient dial and are being pursued by the villainous Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen).
Directed by James Mangold, the action film sees Ford don his trusty hat and whip for the last time in a fun adventure that is reminiscent of the franchise's former glory.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians | 20 December
Rick Riordan's beloved children's books are being re-imagined for television, with a new series starring Walker Scobell as Percy, and Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri as his friends Annabeth and Grover.
The series follows Percy, the 12-year-old son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea ,who is coming into his powers when Zeus, the king of the Gods, accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt.
What If...? season 2 | 22 December
Marvel fans can dig into a new season of What If...? over Christmas as the show's second season will premiere in December, with new episodes being released daily.
The animated series finds The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright) contending with new challenges now the multiverse is well and truly free, showing viewers all the ways their heroes can be different.
